On September 6, 1996, Shah was discovered hanging from the ceiling of his home.[citation needed] Later, a medical board reported it as a suicidal case. None has been charged for his death.
But Shah's mother said that he had no reason of suiciding as he had everything and nothing particularly happened in his family life. Shah had a love marriage.
